Liz joined the team at Cheshire Dental Centre in December 2017, covering maternity leave for the practice owner/hygienist therapist – Stephanie Zapolski.
Liz started out her career in 1986 when she joined the Royal Air Force, this is where she initially trained as a Dental Surgery Assistant. After 2 years within this role Liz was selected to attend the Institute of Dental Health and Training, enabling her to study for her Diploma in Dental Hygiene and in 1989 Liz qualified as a Dental Hygienist still serving for the Royal Air Force for a further 6 years. For the last 22 years of Liz’s career she has worked as a self-employed hygienist. The highlight of Liz’s career has been treating children at two schools in Uganda whilst on a trip with Mission Direct.
Away from her work Liz enjoys spending her private time with her 3 daughters, a huge dog and 2 cats as family pets, whilst also enjoying time to read, swimming, walking, running, and cycling. Liz has interests in playing various musical instruments as well as teaching piano and is also a member of the Stafford Orchestra.
