Clear aligners straighten teeth without metal braces — a system designed to be quick, discreet and cost-effective for patients who don't want traditional braces. Unlike some invisible braces, it doesn't rely on a single standard aligner; there are five different types to suit individual needs.
We also offer ClearCorrect braces, which use nearly invisible tooth-coloured wires. The 3M material makes the brace perform extremely well, correcting just the six to eight front teeth with mild force and minimal pressure.
ClearCorrect invisible braces require periodic changes of the clear aligners. How often you replace an aligner, and how many you need in total, depends on the severity of the issue and the treatment chosen. Most patients need at least a year to see results. ClearCorrect treatment options include Limited 6 (six sets of aligners, typically for minor alignment issues), Limited 12 (12 sets of aligners) and Unlimited (as many aligners as needed for severe cases, the highest-cost option).
Six Month Smiles offers excellent results in a short space of time. Where most braces are worn for one to three years and can require noticeable metal brackets, Six Month Smiles uses white brackets and clear wires to straighten teeth discreetly in a fraction of the usual time. It is one of the gentlest brace systems available; there may be minor discomfort at first, which soon subsides, and ibuprofen or paracetamol can help if needed.

How long does treatment take?
The total time depends on the complexity of your case. Average treatment time is one to six months, and you will be given an estimated total after your consultation.
Are there restrictions on what I can eat during treatment?
Unlike traditional metal braces, you can eat almost anything during ClearCorrect treatment, though you should avoid curries, red wine or anything that could discolour the tooth-coloured elastics supporting the wire. Remember to brush and floss after each meal before re-inserting your aligner.
Will I definitely need a retainer after treatment?
Yes, definitely. Teeth continue to move throughout life, so a retainer helps keep them in their new position.
